Raphael is Chief Executive Officer of Tramondo Investment Partners Ltd. und is a member of the Investment Committee.
Raphael is a founder of Tramondo Investment Partners Ltd. and as its Chief Investment Officer was for three years responsible for the investment strategy and stock selection of TWM Multi-Asset- und Equity Funds. Previously Raphael worked as Portfolio Manager for Tramondo Ltd. and in various Investment Teams for Man Investments AG in Switzerland, in London and in Hong Kong. A part of his training Raphael completed in the USA and South Korea. He is married and father of a daughter.
Raphael CFA- and CAIA Charterholder and holds a Master of Arts in Finance from the University of Zürich.
Andreas Schranz is the Chief Investment Officer and Chairman of the Investment Committee of Tramondo Investment Partners AG.
In this role, he is responsible for strategic and tactical allocation decisions. In particular, Andreas is responsible for mixed investment solutions and the company’s bond strategies. Before joining Tramondo, Andreas worked as Senior Investment Advisor for EFG International and supported demanding private clients in achieving their investment objectives. Andreas spent four years of his career as a portfolio manager at Credit Suisse Asset Management, advising institutional investors in Switzerland and was also able to obtain valuable experience in equity trading at UBS Investment Bank.
Andreas is CFA Charterholder and holds a Master of Arts in Finance from the University of Zürich.
Nicholas Daxelhoffer is a member of the Investment Advisory Board of Tramondo Investment Partners AG and focuses, among others, on the Tramondo GreyJung investment strategy.
Nicholas spent 25 years at Pictet & Cie as a Senior Investment Manager and Business Head. He was a key person in what later became Pictet Asset Management (PAM) in Zurich. Nicholas’ primary responsibility was to manage assets for institutional clients, preferably Swiss pension funds. As a Managing Director, he was jointly responsible with his Co-Head in Geneva for the Balanced Team of PAM, overseeing assets under management of CHF 12 billion. Additionally, Nicholas was entrusted to manage assets for UHNWI and family offices. As a member of PAM’s investment strategy unit, he contributed his monthly market views. Driven by his interest in momentum-based strategies, Nicholas launched a global equities fund based on that approach.
He is highly experienced in tactical asset allocation, equity, and risk management, and has a broad knowledge and experience in Asset Management.
Marcel Schnyder is a member of the Investment Advisory Board of Tramondo Investment Partners AG.
He is the founder and owner of Alternative Partners AG. The advisory boutique focuses on providing services to professional investors with a focus on alternative investments (music rights, real estate, infrastructure, ILS, VC-PE, hedge funds) and holistic asset allocation. Marcel is a recognized investment professional and has extensive experience with leading private banks in Switzerland and Liechtenstein. Before founding Alternative Partners AG, Marcel was the Chief Investment Officer at Reichmuth & Co Privatbankiers in Lucerne, where he was responsible for investment policy, and strategic and tactical allocation decisions. Before this, he worked for LGT Bank in Liechtenstein and LGT Capital Partners in Pfäffikon SZ for over ten years, most recently as Chief Investment Officer responsible for all liquid investment strategies, including the Portfolio of the Prince of Liechtenstein, and the areas Multi-Asset, Equities, Fixed Income, Commodities, ILS & Absolute Return.
Marcel started his commercial apprenticeship at Raiffeisen and holds a degree in business administration FH. He is considered to be very experienced in the areas of tactical and strategic asset allocation. Marcel also has a broad knowledge in the use of alternative investments for pension funds, family offices, and foundations.
Thomas is an Investment Manager at Tramondo Investment Partners Ltd. Until his semi-retirement in April 2020 he was the firm’s CIO.
After completion of his commercial training, in 1978 Thomas began his professional career at UBS bank. After several periods abroad, since 1984 Thomas performed various functions at the financial department of Family Office of Dr. J. Bollag & Cie. He filled leading positions in accounting, trade and investment consulting. Thanks to his profound investment know-how in 2009 he became executive manager of Tramondo Ltd.
Since the incorporation of Tramondo Investment Partners Ltd. Thomas has been member of the Board to this company.
Florian is an Investment Manager at Tramondo Investment Partners AG and a member of the Investment Committee.
Florian previously worked as an investment fund specialist for Alpinum Investment Management AG (asset manager of the Marcuard Heritage Group), focusing on credit and alternative investment strategies. Prior to joining Alpinum, Florian held various investment advisory positions at DZ Privatbank (Schweiz) AG.
Florian is a CFA Charterholder, CAIA Level II candidate and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Banking and Finance from the Zurich University of Applied Sciences.
Thierry is an Investment Manager at Tramondo Investment Partners Ltd. and is a member of the Investment Committee.
Prior to this position, Thierry was a global investment strategist at Vontobel Wealth Management, responsible for investments in thematic megatrends, asset allocation as well as WM investment strategy. Thierry began his career at Vontobel Investment Office in 2014 as an investment manager of discretionary and consulting portfolios. Prior to his joining Vontobel Thierry performed different functions at Investment Management of Union Bancaire Privée and Pictet Asset Management.
Thierry is CFA-Charterholder and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Banking and Finance from Zürich University of Applied Sciences.
Kevin is responsible for Risk Management at Tramondo Investment Partners Ltd.
He has over fifteen years experience in banking, including working for UBS and Credit Suisse. Kevin is one of the founders of Tramondo Wealth Management Ltd.
He is a Certified Swiss Banker and holds a title of a Certified Expert of Financial Market Operations from AZEK.
Maria Eleonora works in Risk Management at Tramondo Investment Partners Ltd.
Maria Eleonora holds a master’s degree from the University of Zurich in Business Administration with a focus on “Banking and Finance”. Before that, she completed a Bachelor of Economics with a focus on Finance at the Università della Svizzera Italiana in Lugano.
Maria Eleonora has extensive theoretical know-how and experience in monitoring investment risks.
Michael is responsible for financial management at Tramondo Investment Partners Ltd.
Since 2011 Michael has been working for Dr. J. Bollag & Cie. to which the accounting of Tramondo Wealth Management Ltd. has been outsourced. Michael completed a bank apprenticeship at Zuger Kantonalbank and worked in various banking sectors. After that he changed to commodity trading and was able to gain experience as an accountant for Norilsk Nickel und Katanga. Now he is acting as a fiduciary.
Alongside his professional commitments Michael completed educational courses and holds the titles of a Swiss Certified Fiduciary and Certified Business Economist. He is married and father of a daughter.
The compliance functions of Tramondo Investment Partners Ltd. have been outsourced to SwissComply based in Zürich.
The team of SwissComply consists of Lawyers and Experts with solid experience in asset management, banking and audit.
Norbert Biedermann is Chairman of the Board of Directors of Tramondo Investment Partners AG.
Mr. Biedermann has around 40 years of experience in various management positions in the financial industry and was CEO of LGT Bank until 2017. He began his career in 1972 with a commercial apprenticeship. After various stays abroad and positions in accounting, internal auditing, trading and investment consulting, he was appointed to the Executive Board of LGT Bank in Liechtenstein in 2001 and became its Chairman in 2011.
Norbert Biedermann retired in June 2017.
Thomas Zumbühl has been a member of the Board of Directors of Tramondo Investment Partners since its inception.
Mr. Zumbühl has more than 30 years of experience in the financial industry. He started his career at UBS in 1978 after completing a commercial apprenticeship. After various stays abroad, Thomas joined the family office of Dr. J. Bollag & Cie in 1984, where he held various positions in the financial sector. He held executive positions in accounting, trading and investment consulting.
Thanks to his extensive investment know-how and many years of investment experience, he was appointed to the Executive Board of Tramondo AG in 2009.
Rolf Helbling is founder and CEO of Carnot Capital, an asset manager focused on energy and resource efficiency.
Mr. Helbling has more than 20 years of experience in various roles in the financial industry. Among other things, he set up an infrastructure fund, managed institutional investment clients, led the analysis department of a Swiss bank and gained experience in private equity.
Rolf Helbling holds a degree in business administration from the University of St. Gallen (lic.oec.HSG) and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
Urs Klingelfuss has been Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors of Tramondo Investment Partners AG since its foundation.
Mr. Klingelfuss has more than 30 years of experience as a legal advisor on complex and international issues and is head of the legal department of the Family Office Dr. J. Bollag & Cie. He has in-depth knowledge in the area of compliance and holds annual seminars for the self-regulatory organization ARIF in the area of diligence in financial transactions.
Urs Klingelfuss holds a law degree from the University of Zurich (lic. iur.).
